My blog: where Kim Jong Il, Mike Rowe, and cupcakes come together
Here are some things I’ve loved recently:
- Kim Jong Il Looking At Things Tumblr. Amazing. (Thanks, Barbara!)
- A Very Potter Musical starred Darren Criss (a.k.a. the best thing to ever happen to Glee)
- A gallery of “extreme” dog photos.
- Cupcakes beat out bacon as a Google trend this year. I’m blaming the vegetarians.
- Mike Rowe (yum) on Wait, Wait, Don’t Tell Me talks about his failed career on QVC. That said, failing on QVC is the equivalent of winning at life.
- Serious Eats writes about “Becoming a Certified BBQ Judge.” This is *tops* on my list of 2011 plans… I’m serious.
- Norweigian TV station does a celebrity-filled video of “Let It Be.” Not sure what to say about this, but it’s definitely the oddest blend of celebs since… probably my blog. (Hat tip, Cousin Andy)

Lots of travel, but lots of great times
The last three weeks have involved trips to Detroit, Philly, Las Vegas, Miami, and back to Detroit. While I owe photos from an amazing weekend in Miami, I’d at least like to leave you with the theme song of the trip. “Stereo Love” is addictive and makes accordions cool again.
