Since American Idol has taken to ruining music for me this season. I was really pleased to see Kris Kristofferson on the Colbert Report. He only performed one song and it happened to my absolute favorite, “Help Me Make It Through The Night.” I love Willie Nelson’s version, but really enjoy this old duet of Kris with Rita Coolidge:
Honestly if you don’t think this is one of the most beautiful songs of all time, there’s something extremely wrong with you.
