You should know that I resent all my playcounts in mid-July, otherwise, Juvenile’s “Slow Motion” might still be number one.

  1. It looks like you like good strong rock with U2 and Springsteen making multiple appearances, and David Cook being hailed as a rocker.

Speaking of Springsteen, is that really a Bruce Springsteen version of Walking in Memphis? I ask because Marc Cohn wrote and performed that song and it is often mis-attributed to Springsteen because their voices our similar. It also happens to be the exact length of the Marc Cohn version and that’s rare for covers. If you like it you should check out Marc Cohn’s “True Companion”. It’s really good even though it didn’t top the charts.

  2. Yes, it’s actually Marc Cohn, but it’s an old track that I *may* have downloaded illegally. I left it tagged as Bruce so that it plays on my Springsteen smart playlist.

I didn’t think Springsteen had ever recorded a version of the song… although I wish he would.

Haha. I have a walking in Memphis by someone other than Marc Cohn also.

I came here from your middle aged couples post. What is your job lol?
