Reading this article on EpiPens made me think about the time I was a camp counselor, and this menace to society camper, Lily, brought her cousin to camp and no one told me the cousin was allergic to milk.
Long story short, we got milkshakes, the cousin had some problems, I had to use an EpiPen… you know, the usual.
Anyway, EpiPen use is comme d’habitude these days which means lots of current camp counselors are dealing with them (and I’m praying my kids are normal allergy-free.)
As an Allergic-American, I find this post very offensive. My allergies are part of who I am and they do not make me abnormal, though that is how your blog post makes me feel.
