Does McCain use email? No. Should you make fun of him for it? Probably not.

Obama’s new ad makes fun of McCain for not using email.  (Didn’t know that was a requirement to be President, but whatevs).

Why doesn’t McCain use email?  His POW injuries make it painful to type on a keyboard.  Maybe not the best “weakness” of your opponent to pick on.

uhmmm… its not about his war injuries. where does it say that he can’t use a computer because of his war injuries? he seems to be able to do his thumbs up a lot.

I mean stephen hawking can use email. Why can’t McCain? Does it mean that every pow prisoner can’t use email because he was tortured with broken arms?

Same, note, should be make fun of Obama because he suggested we teach kindergartners about the dangers of sexual predators and the lipstick thing in McCain’s ads?

It says it hurts to type in both the Globe article and the Forbes article:

“McCain’s severe war injuries prevent him from combing his hair, typing on a keyboard, or tying his shoes.”

“In certain ways, McCain was a natural Web candidate. Chairman of the Senate Telecommunications Subcommittee and regarded as the U.S. Senate’s savviest technologist, McCain is an inveterate devotee of email. His nightly ritual is to read his email together with his wife, Cindy. The injuries he incurred as a Vietnam POW make it painful for McCain to type. Instead, he dictates responses that his wife types on a laptop. “She’s a whiz on the keyboard, and I’m so laborious,” McCain admits.”

And I’ve already said on this site that I think the lipstick comment is irrelevant to the debate. I’ve never commented on Obama’s thoughts on sex ed or McCain’s commercials about those thoughts.

i admit, maybe it came off like a low blow, but the point of the ad was to say that he is out of touch with society.

maybe you didn’t comment on the sex ed but the McCains ads did.
