Here I am pretending to be a beggar woman while on study abroad (I spent the year in Paris, but the picture’s from Rome):

Drew came to visit me.  I’d like say we look fabulous here, but Drew would probably say we’re looking classy!

Antonio Canova’s “Cupid and Psyche,” which happens to be my favorite sculpture in the ENTIRE WORLD:

When I studied at the Ecole du Louvre, I would go look at it almost every day.  I miss that… New York is an incredible city for art, but I never seem to have time to see it.  Or when I do, it’s an amazing disappointment as in the case of Jeff Koons on the roof of the Met (I mean, it’s hard not to be disappointed when you pay $30 for one glass of sangria and three sculptures — even with Ellie and Leslie for company).
